Bowling pins called Kegels were placed in the corner of churches to represent sin, or the heathen. You rolled a stone at it. Knock it down and you were considered cleansed.

Ten pins, ten frames, one scoring system. The shape of the modern game is fixed.

The short version

The full Season One rules are published with the season calendar. Everything below is the part people ask about most.

The $200,000 grand prize

The prize is awarded to the winner of the WBL Championship Finals at the close of Season One. Entry is by qualification only, either through a Captain's draft or a Golden Ticket. No purchase is required to get a verified rating.

Eligibility

Open to players aged 18 and over in countries where the app is available. Employees of the League Sports Company and their immediate families cannot enter. Where local law restricts prize competitions, the prize is void.

Verified play only

Only sessions captured live in the app and sealed by the Kinetic Truth Engine count towards a rating, a leaderboard position or a prize. Sessions cannot be uploaded, edited or resubmitted after they close.

Fair play

Interfering with capture, sharing an account, or misrepresenting a session voids the rating and any prize attached to it. Rating decisions and squad eliminations are final.

Membership and billing

Early member pricing is charged once and covers Season One. It rises to the regular rate at launch for everyone joining after. Your verified rating is yours to keep whether or not you renew.

Your data

Session footage is processed to produce your rating and is not sold. You can export your session history and delete your account from the app at any time.

Season One launches in 2027. Dates, prize structure and the finals venue are confirmed with the season calendar and the official rules take precedence over this summary.
